Amid increased fuel prices, Sindh Govt has taken several important steps to provide maximum relief to the public. CM Sindh @MuradAliShahPPP announces:
- A subsidy of Rs. 100 ‘per litre’ on petrol for motorcycle owners
- Free transfer of ownership for motorcycles
- Financial assistance of Rs. 1,500 per acre for small farmers through the Benazir Hari Card during the threshing season
- Additional monthly support of Rs. 140,000 for each of the 27,297 registered passenger buses in Sindh to help keep fares affordable & unchanged for commuters

What revisionist nonsense.

Imran Khan was not the one acting right. He rather opposed Sindh’s lockdowns, dismissing it while the threat was escalating. His so-called “smart lockdown” didn’t even begin until the situation had worsened enough to start costing lives.

PPP kept asking PTI to take lockdowns seriously & act to save lives, but the initial response was marked by denial & dangerous complacency. Later he even discriminated against people of Karachi, calling for strict lockdowns elsewhere but in Karachi.

It was Sindh Govt that took COVID seriously from day one, enforced restrictions & actually led from the front - setting the benchmark the rest of the country was eventually forced to follow.

Moreover, the two situations are completely incomparable. A lockdown to SAVE FUEL cannot be equated with a lockdown to SAVE LIVES.

At that time, Pakistan required strict lockdowns & had they been implemented in time, God knows how many lives could have been saved!
