@goblin_tuesday Some great recommendations here.
I'm a bit late to the party, but if you're still looking for a screen recorder, check out Vmaker too.
It's free, has a ton of features & there are no watermarks on videos
@KoilStudio@prettypinkcover Hey Koil, I hope you're having a great day today as well
Pardon my intrusion because you are checking out OBS, I thought of asking you if you can check Vmaker too?
It's a free screen recorder with a better user interface. I think you're going to like it.
@FrancisJeejo Great list, Anton. I'm sure this is going to be useful for the developers.
Screencastify can be a bit expensive as they allow only 10 videos in the free plan.
Vmaker can be a great alternative. Record unlimited videos of 7 minutes for free.
@shirky17 While you're checking out other screencasting tools, also check out Vmaker
It comes with basic & advanced features. It's available as a Windows & Mac app. And, you can use it as a Chrome extension too
@hr_animesh Very useful list. All the tools mentioned here deserve a place.
I will also add Vmaker to this list. Excellent mix of features, user-friendly interface & one of the best pricing in this segment.
@Real_ITZAISLAND @ROGUEXMAGIC While you're checking out OBS, I would suggest you take a look at Vmaker too.
Way better than iTop & easy to use as compared to OBS
@mall_ayesha Great list! This is going to be useful.
Loom is great, but if you're looking for a more value for money option, then Vmaker is a better choice IMO.
Thought of adding this as this might be useful to someone🙂
@JakeMillerTech Vmaker also deserves a mention here.
It's a screen recorder with great pricing, and comes with a built-in editor too. Comes as an app for Windows & Mac PCs.
Also available as a Chrome extension
@CallumMckeefery I will go for description A
Not just bcoz it's short. It's personalized right from the start. I know that there's something for me just by reading the 1st line.
B is great too. But, I'm too used to reading "Introducing X that can do Y. Nothing wrong with it though.
@Zoewrites1 @mmendeswrites This has happened to me too. And my reaction was just like yours.
The best way to deal with this IMO is to ask the editor what pushed them to rule it out.
Maybe they had something else in their mind which probably made more sense for that piece.
Keep ✍️
@RobinWriters Yup, I get your point. My suggestions are good to be a part of the ad copy as compared to the CTA. I agree with that.
"Discover more" sounds less exciting. It's tough to think of something else though.
@sarneckid Have you checked out Vmaker yet?
Screencastify is great, but compare the pricing with Vmaker.
I think Vmaker offers a better value in the long run
