I think media makes money riding on the back of incivility, and things are frantic and tragic because it pays to amplify and publicize hostile words and deeds.

Locally, construction has torn up roads, congested traffic, and caused the appraised (market) value of my house to double in the last two years.

I'm going to be paying increased property taxes for the rest of my life because of the construction.

The only thing I may have done differently was 'liked' a bunch of funny posts in a troll thread.

My use is as follows:

.22 pistols and rifles for target practice
9mm and .45 pistols for defense
Various military style rifles for hogs and social encounters
.30-06 rifle for deer
Various shotguns for birds and social encounters
