These are the international and nationals standards through which prisoners can manage their menstrual cycle safely, thereby protecting and fulfilling their right to health, sanitation, life and dignity.
80% of women prisoners in India are in the active stage of menstruation, yet there are no standard policies on Menstrual Hygiene Management in any state.
Let’s break the silence and bring focus on this important issue.
