There is no reason to not try to save the child's life. If the embryo or fetus must be removed doctors aught to attempt to save the child's life instead of pulling apart the still living child with toothed forceps.

Child sacrifice is evil.

Your position is flawed. An abortion is a procedure specificallyto terminate a viable pregnancy. Things like the removal of an ectopic pregnancy, a condition that directly threatens the live of the mother, are not classified as abortions because it is not viable.
