In the name of security, the Baloch identity has been turned into a mark of suspicion across the country. Wherever Baloch people live, in Dera Ghazi Khan, Karachi, or Balochistan, they continue to face systematic state repression.

Baloch civilians in Balochistan are being subjected to drone attacks and airstrikes, while Baloch communities who have lived in Karachi for generations are increasingly harassed, raided, and targeted. Maripur, Lyari, and other Baloch-populated areas are facing continuous raids and operations, with many people being forcibly disappeared.

The Baloch Yakjehti Committee social media campaign aims to break the silence around these abuses, amplify the voices of affected families, and bring attention to enforced disappearances and persecution in Karachi. I urge everyone to join the BYC campaign and raise their voice against this oppression.

The right to live is a right of every human being. End enforced disappearances. Stop using security as a justification for the persecution and destruction of the Baloch people.

Balochistan High Court Issues Notices on BYC Petition Challenging Faceless Trials

The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) welcomes the proceedings of the Balochistan High Court on the constitutional petition filed against the conduct of faceless trials and the restrictions imposed on open and public court proceedings.

On 11 August 2026, the Balochistan High Court issued notices to the respondents on the petition filed by Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Beebow Baloch, Gul Zadi Baloch, Sibghatullah Shah Ji and Bebarg Baloch, who are currently facing trial while in custody at District Jail Quetta. The petition challenges the relevant government notifications issued on 24 November 2025, 10 October 2025 and 12 June 2026, as well as the application of Section 21 of the Anti-Terrorism Act.

The petition seeks to declare these notifications unlawful, unconstitutional, and violative of Articles 4, 9, 10-A, 14, 25, and 175(3) of the Constitution of Pakistan. In addition to challenging the notifications, the petition formally prays the Honorable Court to declare that any trial conducted under the shadow of executive threats and in the secrecy of a prison environment, as well as any proceedings held in the absence of the petitioners and their defense counsel, are null and void. Furthermore, it requests the transfer of all cases and proceedings presently pending against the petitioners to another competent Court of law.

The petition also asks the Court to restrain the respondents from intervening, influencing, or exerting administrative or executive pressure on the pending proceedings or presiding officers. It seeks to restrain the state from appointing substitute or State-nominated counsel, ensuring the petitioners' right to counsel of their own choice is not defeated due to clashing hearing dates. Additionally, the petition asks the Court to direct authorities to grant the petitioners free, confidential, and unmonitored access to consult with their defense counsel for effective preparation of their defense, and to direct the respondents to restore and conduct all proceedings and hearings in a publicly accessible, open court prior to the issuance of the June 12 notification, in the larger interest of justice, equity, and fair play.

The issuance of notices by the High Court is an important step in bringing the legality and constitutionality of these measures before the Court for judicial consideration. The respondents will now be required to respond to the petition and explain the legal basis for the measures being challenged.

The BYC has consistently maintained that the right to a fair and transparent trial cannot be compromised through procedures that prevent public access to judicial proceedings. Court proceedings involving political and other detainees must remain subject to transparency, due process, and the protection of fundamental rights.

The use of closed or faceless proceedings raises serious concerns regarding transparency, accountability, and the right of an accused person to effectively defend themselves. Justice must not only be delivered according to law but must also be conducted through a process that remains open to public scrutiny.

The Baloch Yakjehti Committee considers this petition not merely a legal matter concerning its detained leadership, but an important question concerning the independence of the judiciary, transparency of judicial proceedings, due process, fundamental rights, and the rule of law.

BYC will continue to pursue all legal and peaceful avenues for the protection of the fundamental rights of its detained leaders and activists and will continue to demand transparent, open, and fair judicial proceedings.

کیچ کے علاقے ہوشاب میں پاکستانی فورسز کی جانب سے مقامی آبادی پر مارٹر فائر کیے گئے، جس کے نتیجے میں پانچ بچیاں شدید زخمی ہوئیں۔ ایک بچی، جو نازک حالت میں تھی، زخموں کی تاب نہ لاتے ہوئے جان سے گئی۔ یہ سانحہ اس ریاستی تشدد اور منظم جبر کی اسی طویل سلسلے کا تسلسل ہے جسے بلوچ قوم برسوں سے بلوچ قوم کی نسل کشی کے طور پر دنیا کے سامنے رکھتی آئی ہے، مگر عالمی برادری اپنی خاموشی سے اس ظلم کو مزید طاقت دیتی رہی ہے۔

بلوچستان میں جاری ریاستی جبر کی شکلیں بے شمار ہیں۔ جبری گمشدگیاں، مسخ شدہ لاشوں کی برآمدگی، گھروں پر چھاپے، اور عام آبادیوں پر مارٹر گولے داغنا، اس حد تک کہ چھوٹے بچے اور بچیاں بھی محفوظ نہیں رہے۔ بلوچ کے خلاف اسکی ہی سرزمین پر طاقت کے بل پر اسکی قتلِ عام جاری کرکے ریاست جبر کی تمام حدیں قائم کررہی ہے۔

اس سے پہلے بھی عام آبادیوں پر فورسز کی اسی نوعیت کی فائرنگ اور شیلنگ ہوتی رہی ہے، جن میں کمسن بچے مارے گئے۔ ان واقعات پر مقدمے اور عدالتی JITs بھی قائم ہوئیں، مگر ذمہ داروں کو کبھی سزا نہ مل سکی۔ ہمیں معلوم ہے کہ بلوچ کا خون ہمیشہ سستا سمجھا گیا ہے؛ ریاست کبھی اس خون کی جوابدہ نہیں بنی۔

ریاست بلوچ نوجوانوں کی مسخ شدہ لاشیں پھینک کر انہیں دہشت گرد قرار دیا جاتا ہے، مردوں اور عورتوں کو جبری طور پر غائب کرکے اسے کاؤنٹر ٹیررزم کا نام دیا جاتا ہے لیکن اب سوال یہ ہے کہ جب معصوم بچیاں تک اس گھناؤنی جارحیت کی زد میں آرہی ہیں تو ریاست اس وحشیانہ کارروائی کو کس منطق کے تحت جائز قرار دے گی؟

عرصے سے لاپتہ زرینہ مری بلوچ کو شاید بہت سے لوگ بھول گئے، کیونکہ اُس زمانے میں سوشل میڈیا کا استعمال اتنا عام نہیں تھا۔ اسی لیے ریاستی ادارے بار بار اس واقعے پر بلوچ قوم کو دنیا کے سامنے جھوٹا ثابت کرنے کی کوشش کرتے رہے کہ زرینہ بلوچ نامی کوئی عورت ہے ہی نہیں۔ مگر ہمیں یقین کرنا چاہیے کہ زرینہ بلوچ اور نازیہ بلوچ دونوں حقیقت میں موجود تھیں۔

ریاستی فوج اور اس کے خفیہ اداروں کے ہاتھوں ماہ جبین بلوچ گزشتہ چھ ماہ سے لاپتہ ہے۔ پنجگور میں نازیہ بلوچ کے ساتھ جو ہوا، وہ سب کے سامنے ہے۔ اب حب چوکی سے آواران کی رہائشی نسرینہ بلوچ کو بھی اغواء کر لیا گیا ہے۔

ماہ جبین بلوچ، نسرینہ بلوچ سمیت نہ جانے کتنی ایسی خواتین ہیں جن کے بارے میں میڈیا میں کچھ بھی سامنے نہیں آیا۔ دشمن نے جو کرنا ہے کرے گا، لیکن بلوچ قوم اپنے لوگوں کو نہ بھولے۔ دشمن مارے گا، لاپتہ کرے گا اور دبانے کی کوشش بھی کرے گا؛ ایسے میں قوم کے پاس دو ہی راستے ہیں:
یا تو تماشائی بن کر اپنی بہنوں کو لاپتہ اور مرتا ہوا دیکھتے رہیں،
یا خود کو تاریخ میں زندہ قوم کی حیثیت سے امر کریں۔

اگر دشمن ریاست کو اس حد تک جانے کی اجازت ہے، تو میرے دین کی تعلیمات اور دنیاوی اخلاقیات کی رو سے بلوچ قوم کے فرائض کیا بنتے ہیں؟ کیا بیٹھ کر صرف اپنی قوم کی بیٹیوں کی عزتیں پامال ہوتے دیکھیں؟ اپنے نوجوانوں اور بچوں کی لاشیں اٹھاتے رہیں؟

خاموش بیٹھ کر تماشا دیکھنے والوں کو لوگ سو سال بعد بھی مردہ ضمیر کہیں گے۔
تاریخ صرف اُنہیں زندہ رکھے گی اور یاد کرے گی جو جانوں کی پرواہ نہیں کریں گے، جو نہیں ڈریں گے، اور جو ظلم کے آگے آواز بلند کریں گے۔

کل رات 11:30 بجے حب چوکی بلوچستان میں پولیس اہلکار جن میں وردی اور سادہ کپڑوں میں ملبوس اہلکاروں نے ایک گھر میں گھس کر گھر کی خواتین پر تشدد کیا، تمام اہلِ خانہ کو ایک کمرے میں بند کرکے پندرہ سالہ نسرین کو زبردستی اپنے ساتھ لے گئے جن کے بارے میں تاحال کوئی معلومات فراہم نہیں ملی کہ انہیں کہاں اور کیوں لے جایا گیا۔

بلوچستان میں جبری گمشدگیوں کے ساتھ اب خواتین اور کم عمر لڑکیوں کی جبری گمشدگی میں بھی تیزی سے اضافہ ہو رہا ہے۔ پچھلے پانچ مہینے سے ماہ جبین بلوچ جبری گمشدگی کا شکار ہوکر تاحال لاپتہ ہیں، اور اب نسرین جیسی ایک اور کم عمر بچی کو اغوا کرنا بلوچستان میں اونچے درجے کی ریاستی بربریت کو ظاہر کرتا ہے۔

بلوچستان ایک ایسے ریجن میں تبدیل کیا جا رہا ہے جہاں انسانی حقوق کی سنگین خلاف ورزیاں اور ہر قسم کے جنگی جرائم معمول بنتے جا رہے ہیں، مسخ شدہ لاشوں کی برآمدگی کا سلسلہ مسلسل جاری ہے۔ یہاں قانون، انصاف اور شہری تحفظ کا عملاً کوئی وجود باقی نہیں رہا۔
گمشدہ افراد کے لواحقین انصاف کے لیے مجبور ہوکر سڑکوں پر بیٹھتے ہیں، آج بھی خضدار وڑھ میں عبدالباری کی جبری گمشدگی کے خلاف لواحقین نے سات گھنٹے تک کوئٹہ کراچی شاہراہ بند کیا، جبکہ دوسری طرف حکومتی نمائندے میڈیا پر بیٹھ کر بلوچستان میں امن اور نارمل حالات کا ایسا نقشہ پیش کرتے ہیں گویا وہ حقیقت سے مکمل طور پر آنکھیں چُرا رہے ہوں اور کسی اور دنیا میں رہ رہے ہوں اور وہ زمینی حقائق سے مکمل لاتعلق ہوں۔

𝗕𝗬𝗖 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲

Yesterday on 18 November, bail proceedings were conducted in ATC Court Quetta concerning multiple FIRs registered against the detained leadership of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC).

During these hearings, one of the most troubling developments occurred in FIR 89/25, where bail for all leaders was rejected. The State of Pakistan argued that BYC leaders had provoked individuals who later broke the Civil Hospital gate and collected the corpses. However, there is no credible or legally admissible evidence linking the BYC leadership to this incident. In fact, several individuals implicated in the same case have already been granted bail.

Pakistani law clearly upholds the principle of consistency: when bail is granted to co-accused in the same case or in similar circumstances, others must be treated the same way. This fundamental principle was disregarded entirely. The judge’s conduct throughout the proceedings reflected evident bias, and the decision in FIR 89/25 stands in clear contradiction to established legal standards.

Key outcomes from yesterday’s hearings include:

Dr. Mahrang Baloch and Gulzadi Baloch were granted bail in 10 FIRs, while bail was denied in the remaining cases.

Bibagar Baloch, Sibgatullah Shahji, and Beebow Baloch were granted bail in 9 FIRs, with the rest rejected.

Despite these setbacks, our resolve remains firm. This unjust decision will be challenged in the High Court. The struggle for justice continues, and the state’s attempts to silence peaceful political activists will not succeed.
