@ChronicleZim Why is the responsible authority rushing to open a road that is not yet complete. The missing road markings is a big risk hazard and @MinistryofTID you may have blood on your hands.
Road markings are important for safely guiding, warning and regulating motorists on a highway.
@newswireZW Are there any proper public engagements that are done before these drastic and draconian pronouncements are made?
The level of inconsistency in policy makes everyone look dumb and disorganized.
@mncedisi_mengu@SablesRugbyZW If we can build on the intensity and fighting spirit shown in the second half, then we can make a statement next year in Australia.
The first half was really awful.
@RugbyPass@RugbyTimes What more do you want them to do? Win another World Cup, 3rd one in a row?
Must the #springboks literally strangle the #allblacks for you to be convinced.
@LethueK Gideon Gono et al. must be brought before a court of law or some commission of enquiry to answer serious questions about loss of value and people's savings.
He must also be stripped of his doctorate.
@KuraChihota@tawandan1@investzimbo The underlying vision of diaspora investments is very noble. For example, that is partly how Ethiopia managed to build the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD).
However, having a whole ministry for this is unnecessary and will possibly tie things in red tape.
@TendayiZinyama While this is good news and commendable development, water supply to Bulawayo will only be realised once the 252km long pipeline from the dam to Bulawayo has been laid and 6 booster pump stations constructed.
This may be achieved in the next decade or two or so.
@VNgwena1@CityofBulawayo@zinwawater The Gwayi Shangani dam is just phase one of this mega project.
Phase two, which entails laying a 252km long pipeline and construction of 6 booster pump stations, is still required to convey water to Bulawayo.
This phase 2 may take another decade or so to complete.
@Rocford0@ImVeeMk@baba_nyenyedzi Care to explain this further.
Because all the countries in the Rand Monetary Union (RMU) have stable and predictable macroeconomic environments.
Inflation in those countries is lower than in ZW, even in USD terms.
@thestandardzim While the City is following up on this hump, can they please ensure that all speed humps across the city's roads are clearly marked with road paint and warning signs are installed before the humps.
Without signage, humps can actually be safety hazards.
