#DYK that the bugle call from St. Mary's Tower (Wieża Mariacka) in Kraków is the longest-running broadcast in the world? It was broadcasted for the first time by @polskieradiopl on #OTD in 1927. In the picture: Corporal Emil Czech plays the Hejnał Mariacki in front of the Monte Cassino monastery captured by the soldiers of General Anders in 1944. This picture became a symbol of the efforts of the Polish Armed Forces in the West during WW2.
