@aboutceltic Meanwhile Liam Scales, arguably the worst centre back of the group from the last few years and the weakest member of the first team squad after Ralston, is now a guaranteed starter despite making mistakes in almost every game. All of this is utterly baffling
@aboutceltic@mcgowan_stephen In an alternative timeline we'd be reading that Maeda, Hatate and Engels all sign new contracts as Scales, Forrest, McCowan and Ralston all set to depart. But our board are incompetent so it won't happen
@suaciovt@PicturesFoIder I live in Cologne and walk past it regularly. You tend to forget about it but every now and again I'll stop and take a proper look and I'm reminded of how immense it is. It was the tallest structure in the world for 4 years before the completion of the Washington monument
@mattyfro1@PaulJohnDykes He's really really poor and gets away with alot from sections of our support on the back of the odd saving header or last gasp challenge. His positioning and judgement are particularly problematic and that's before we talk about his passing out from the back
@CelticFC Why? Our worst centre back and our worst midfielder getting contracts before we even get a new manager. The board have also lumbered us with James Forrest for another year. Utterly ludicrous.
@giulio_mattioli@derJamesJackson It's the most insane thing about Germany. Pack everyone into supermarkets on a Saturday and try and force everyone to have a family day on the Sunday. It's 2026, not 1950 and people should be able to make their own choices about when they want to shop
@DominikDiamond@PaulJohnDykes Starting Ralston and Scales and then subbing Maeda and Tierney off instead of those 2 was utterly baffling and probably the final nail in the coffin sadly
@CelticFC Was hoping Ralston and Kenny might be starting for Livingston as that's about their level. Good to see him being bold with the goalkeeping choice though
@CelticFC Nancy has my full support but playing Ralston is a scandalous decision. We need to be shedding the deadwood, not trying to adorn them with more medals
@GT_Football_ Scales is not a good player and the bizzare hyping of his performances by a section of our support baffles me. He got games because Rodgers had favourites. Any new manager was always going to put him in the category to be replaced pretty quickly
@CelticFC Watch the magician amaze everyone as he puts 10s of millions of pounds into the hat, casts his wand over it and produces a couple of loan signings from the Championship. Only it's not that amazing because the same trick is done almost every year
