Storytelling is our business. So we know how much words matter. We are dismayed at the toxic language that has been the backdrop to the shocking race-related violence we are witnessing around the UK.
Racism and Islamophobia have no place in our society. We stand in solidarity with all people of colour of all nationalities affected by these appalling acts of violence.
Fascinating - thanks, @pete_dyson. Interesting to see Frequent Flyer Levies make into Lib Dem and Green manifestos... something we know the public largely support e.g. https://t.co/P1afsxHpnd @CAST_Centre
Excited to share that I am part of @DecolonisingE Nourishing Economics Ecosystem of BPOC solidarity economy organisers.
Together, we've been experimenting with solidarity economy practices to build economies of care.

"There is a vacuum of information and engagement - and certain groups are using this to push a sense of injustice for their own narrow interests.
It doesn't have to be this way." My ace colleague @NamHameed in @BusinessGreen
We don't need to use technocratic terms like 'net zero' when talking like a human can do a better job e.g. better buses, more trees, safer cycling routes
We know British public wants ambitious leadership + investment on climate and nature.
At start of #GeneralElection manifesto week
📙 @LibDems are right to talk about both economic opportunity + responsibility we owe to future generations.
This is what people care about.
The First All-Ladies Cambridge Fire Brigade - @JenniPinnock, @Mackenwells and @HelenArney’s musical is an upbeat ensemble piece, set in 1870s Girton College, Cambridge, following the women who formed the first ever all-female fire brigade.

🚨Stop Scrolling!
Let's pause & reflect a minute about what this shocking picture of @GretaThunberg 's arrest tells us about the current state of #climate politics.
A short 🧵on some key lessons we can take from this image
"rather than echoing the concerns of a vocal minority that opposes any form of climate action, we need to effectively communicate that the vast majority of people around the world are willing to act against climate change and expect their national gov to act"
