We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Taking the throne in 1952, Queen Elizabeth is the longest-reigning British monarch having reigned for 70 years.

The thoughts of the Northumbria community are with the Royal Family at this sad time.
