You know what else, while we’re at it?Public is not structured around families in any way at all and it STINKS. Children are acceptably excluded from public life in a million subtle ways and a million obvious ways.

Radicalized by trying to take my toddler in literally any public restroom. The toilets are huge and have split seats, I can’t hold her in the air to wash her hands while my pregnant belly is in the way (you’ll never see a step-stool for a toddler). Playgrounds are built by roads by designers who seem to have never met a child, with no enclosed area so that a mom could potentially take multiple young children and let them free range. Restaurants have stopped offering any type of entertainment. On and on and on.

Whenever I think social media has ruined my attention span because I struggle to watch new shows and movies, I go back to old movies and realise my attention span is just fine, new movies are just shit.
