I believe that production, sound design, and mixing skills are essential to stand out and be unique.
Mastering isn’t that important for sound identity but still I do it myself!
What’s your stance on producers who outsource their mixing and mastering?
Some call it a lack of skill, others call it professional delegation.
Does the "Industry Standard" require a second pair of ears, or should a top-tier producer do it all? 🎧
AI will never take over musicians who love making music.
But it will take over the “instant gratification” junkies who think we care about what AI created for them…
What we love when producing music is the process..
We blend sounds, notes, frequencies and words.
We brute force the blend until we create a vibe that makes us feel or move somehow..
And we have fun doing it.
More fun than prompting the process!
And don’t get me wrong AI can give us tools to make the process easier, faster, and better..
And that’s awesome.
But prompting the AI to make tracks for you and take care of all the process means you don’t like making music.

@nlcastle_ Aspect ratios and export sizes should be already in the price. Even if they don't ask for variations. Like the ice and the straw when you order a drink. Some people don't want ice or a straw but are included in the price.
