@modmothernature @HadNauseum @JoeBiden Seatbelts 👏 and 👏Road Rules👏don’t 👏 stop 👏 car 👏accidents 👏 But they do reduce fatalities and save lives. Think about it 🤔
@MikeMcLikes@GXLDDIGGER1@AJNIntel@warriors Do you think that it should be kept in a safe by law? Similar to how wearing a seatbelt is law. To minimise the fatality rate of accidents. It doesn’t infringe on right of ownership at all. As a responsible gun owner what is your thought on this?
@GXLDDIGGER1@MikeMcLikes@AJNIntel@warriors The metaphor doesn’t address the danger or responsibility of owning the machete. Only the benefit. A lot of arguments for the benefit. Not so much on the consequences poorly enforced or negligent safety measures.
@MikeMcLikes@GXLDDIGGER1@AJNIntel@warriors Thank you I am just genuinely trying to understand the gun culture of gun owners. Hence the questions. A lot of people defend owning one and why. But very little is said on the safety and responsibility of owning one. And if they approve of just anyone owning one with no cautions
@MikeMcLikes@AJNIntel@warriors I’m just trying to understand the gun safety elements and if you use it recreationally as well for sport or fun? or if it is displayed prominently as an item of art in your home? To me this sounds like responsible gun ownership, which is what gun control laws advocate.
@Prince15081967 @warriors Exactly! Hence why people need to be vetted, trained and licensed. Can’t just let any maniac drive a car without lessons or a license to be renewed? Why would you allow that for a gun? Glad you agree with responsible gun ownership laws 👏👏 people kill people! Let’s vet them.
@MikeMcLikes@AJNIntel@warriors How many times have you needed to use it for home protection? Have you ever used it? Is it kept in a safe? Did you complete a gun safety course before purchase? Did you need to complete a background check prior to buying it? Do you have a license you need to get renewed?
@JTQue @Co42925294Cathy@RudyGiuliani if that true there would be less mass shootings. Unfortunately gun control is needed to vet the PEOPLE purchasing the gun. Or complete a gun safety course before taking the gun home (similar to a drivers test) what is your argument against responsible gun control?
