@tarabrabazon Hi Tara. What are your thoughts regarding a PhD by publications vs. the traditional dissertation? I am thinking of converting my approach to the publications route as this fits well with my current work demands and I will remain relevant and up to date.

[PhDHopeful @TatMuk2020]

@MushtaqBilalPhD So whatever is generated by AI means it’s no longer novel. Great place to test ideas and research questions or do these prompts also become part of its ‘learning’?

[PhDHopeful @TatMuk2020]

@MushtaqBilalPhD And what happens to creativity…?

[PhDHopeful @TatMuk2020]

@MushtaqBilalPhD I always worry about feeding text in to ChatGPT will it not appear as plagiarised when run through a plagiarism detector?

[PhDHopeful @TatMuk2020]

@PhD_Genie I hate teamwork and I’m sensitive to criticism

[PhDHopeful @TatMuk2020]

@almostbrenda @AcademicChatter So glad I’m not the only one who needs this kind of consideration.

[PhDHopeful @TatMuk2020]

@PhDMumLife Breathe mama! It’ll all get better. Try not to be to be too strung the kids sense this and they follow suit

[PhDHopeful @TatMuk2020]

@MushtaqBilalPhD But I worry about blurring the lines with creative IP… the moment you input into it you relinquish that IP

[PhDHopeful @TatMuk2020]

So anyone used an excel word count tracker to manage their PhD daily writing goal? How has it worked for you?

@MushtaqBilalPhD The insincerity of it all…

[PhDHopeful @TatMuk2020]

@MushtaqBilalPhD And now ChatGPT is down….

[PhDHopeful @TatMuk2020]

@tarabrabazon Thank you Tara!

[PhDHopeful @TatMuk2020]

@Terence77350719 @AcademicChatter @tarabrabazon Thank God for editors!

[PhDHopeful @TatMuk2020]

Academic Twitter I'm at my wits end! I am not a wordy writer and i tend to be too consise to the detriment of my PHD thesis word count. My uni needs 80k words and i dont see this happening. Ideas for fleshing up my thesis. Please!
@AcademicChatter @tarabrabazon

[PhDHopeful @TatMuk2020]

@tarabrabazon @AcademicChatter Thanks do much Tara! Looking forward.

@itsOnly_Jessica I'm just worried that such negative feelings can project onto the child and they act out sometimes. Praying you find peace and light on this journey.
