College Track & Field Coaches:
I have had the pleasure of coaching all of these athletes this summer in AAU, all of which are looking for a college home going into their senior year.

Sam Seemes of @USTFCCCA is spot on here.
"Let’s be honest: All-day meets with endless time trials don’t engage the public and never will … nor with cross country meets with “tempo runs”. We need competitions with clear narratives, dramatic moments, and real stakes."

I've been in track and field for almost 50 years. It is one of the most difficult sports to be in. Congratulations to all of the great athletes in the world, and I marvel at your talent. But someone has to out themselves out there for all of you to get attention.
@FloTrack You can’t be unmarketable in a sport that doesn’t have as much money or media attention as other sports. It’s part of the job to draw your own attention and he knows that. No reason to complain about it.
@FedericoDipace@trackspice If so that’ll be interesting, having it as one day event could increase viewership with people just having to take time out of one day instead of 2-3 to watch. They’re elite level athletes, they can definitely handle 2 races in a day, even if the second isn’t as fast as usual.
