@LauraLolder I’m somewhere between 1 & 3. I have one private study session with my year 11 class and then I can start to breathe. But if it’s anything like half term I’ll come down with some dreaded lurgy when my body realises it has got time to tell me it’s not happy with the lack of sleep.
@zssnas@shadylady222@LitdriveUK I loved your session on A Christmas Carol yesterday. I’ll definitely revise my focus when I teach it next year. Thank you.
@s_hawksworth@PendleVale This is a new T&L strategy which we have implemented this term. Each curriculum area has designed their own Talk Template. Here is KS3 English.
One good way of doing this is as a ‘reverse advent calendar’. If your children can bear to part with toys they’ve grown out of, see if you can choose one a day in December, then fill a box to take to the local refugee centre or charity shop
@TeachLeadAAli I wouldn’t bother with Madame Tussauds. It’s over priced and the wax works are distinctly average. Long queues too. Do an open top bus tour; you learn and see loads.
✨Still surreal to be holding my book in my hands!

@Jeff_Pedley I write this sitting in the kitchen sink. That is, my feet are in it; the rest of me is on the draining board. (Sorry it’s 2 sentences but worth it.)
