While your friends, gardeners, bartenders, barbers
I read a post on another site that was filled with advice on how to act at a conference.
Yay, I guess? Maybe some folks find that useful, but I find it stressful.
Here's my tip: Be yourself. It's a chance to meet people and learn new things, not an audition. You'll be fine.
Still waiting for my refund for 2025, and my wife is steamed.
Had to prove my identity. I am an Enrolled Agent, have a PTIN, and a CAF ID, and a Tax Professional Account with the IRS, have attended the IRS National Forums for almost 20 years, but still had to prove my identity.
Then received a letter dated May 18, 2026, that said it might be another 60 days before they can verify all the information and issue the refund.
Filed the return on February 27th.

IRS just told me they had to hang up because they couldn’t read my fax. The truth was the guy couldn’t find the payment and asked me to mail in a letter. I guess everything needs to be worked through congressional aides, its disgusting the service we get! 90 minutes wasted!

Modern kids will never understand the satisfaction of not spending $300 on something that falls apart in six months.
A great way to see Van Gogh's "Starry Night" is to stare at the center of the spiral for 20 seconds and then look at the painting.

“ Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it. It flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it.”- Unknown. You will never be forgotten !
🇺🇸 Last night, Gold Star wife @SharrellAnne2 made a plea on 𝕏, asking for a photo of her late husband SSG Alan Shaw’s grave at Arlington
And MAN did patriots step up!
DOZENS have visited SSG Shaw’s gravesite, including DNI @TulsiGabbard, who left a gift.
So freaking proud that we could make this happen!
THANK YOU, PATRIOTS! 🇺🇸
It was an honor to visit your husband’s grave today on your behalf, and to pay my respects. It was wonderful to see the beautiful flowers representing many others who did the same. Our nation owes a debt of gratitude to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and to the loved ones they left behind. Thank you for your service and sacrifice @SharrellAnne2 🙏🏽
This is probably a long shot, but if anybody happens to be in DC this weekend and plans on visiting Arlington, I would love to see a fresh photo of my husband’s grave in Section 60.
