A5: The light is the life. (ante)Robot must move. Move, robot, move. But why? Move, move, move. Robot. Forever move. 1 ❤️ = 1 Robot Move @RJajjo#schmiteracies
Me, unprompted: What kind of ontology do you peruse on the weekends ... oh, just the epistemological kind ... you know ... did I mention I put my dog on a strictly metaphysical diet? #schmiteracies
@ImZachPorter @SUcharanguero teacher protip: use epistemology (or ontology) in sentences when talking to principals. They'll nod like they know what you're saying. Total teacher power move. #schmiteracies
Q1: it’s remarkably easy *not* to see/read classroom connections that our students are making. E.g. what preconceptions do students bring to your classroom about their peers? Hard to know unless you ask about their #schmiteracies
A5: I’d like to put a premium on discomfort (maybe also disagreement?) in order to see whether students develop literacies around that (like our deliciously silent discussions @ CERAS 308) #schmiteracies
A4: helpful in the sense that it makes codes of power visible and easier to learn. Potentially harmful in the sense that it limits our vision / delineates where codes of power can be found (hint, they’re everywhere) #schmiteracies
A1: every student was asked to analyze and present a song during my junior year of high school English — and we also had the option to perform them! #schmiteracies
A2: It’s easier to evaluate, and promotes docility. Anyone feelin’ that Marx quote from earlier? Anyone ready to make good on all these Gramsci references / name drops?? #letsstormCERAS300#schmiteracies
