After my original flight getting delayed 7 hours and barely making it on the next one out my luggage is still not here over 24 hours later. It landed in CLT at 6:50 this morning. @AmericanAir
"It was obviously a mistake. In hindsight, I wouldn't have done it. I was trying to be a Dad," Sen. Ted Cruz says after receiving criticism for flying to Mexico with his family during a major winter storm in Texas.
This is what the Big Lie is all about. Three months after the election, and 61 court decisions later, Trump and his attorneys still refuse to acknowledge that he lost the election. Pathetic.
The Republican Party has a fundamental choice to make. It can be a conservative party that believes in democracy and the rule of law or it can be an authoritarian party that’s built on conspiracy theories, violence and the Big Lie. But it cannot be both.
Honestly what message were Republicans trying to send by appointing to the Education and Labor Committee a woman who believes the Sandy Hook shooting was fake and mocks Parkland survivors?
Individuals don’t get final say in cmtes. GOP leadership *picked* that assignment for her.
Update: ALL 5 of Trump's impeachment attorneys have stepped down. He has no representation, and the trial starts a week from Tuesday. https://t.co/To0kU9tq2Y
I think censorship of social media is quite possibly the lightest repercussion. Spreading misinformation, inciting violence, staging an attempted coup, and dividing the country are serious threats to our republic—not the president crying about losing his fucking Twitter.
Every Democrat should be joining with Republicans to say that this absolute monopoly on the dissemination of political speech controlled by colluding tech giants is a threat to our republic.
Censoring law abiding individuals & businesses for ‘wrong think’ is anti-American.
