Tom Holland’s favorite video game of all-time is ‘The Last of Us Part 2’ 🎮
“I haven’t watched the series because I love the game so much”

Tom Holland is perfectly cast as Telemachus. You can’t deny the physicality and emotional depth that he finds in these roles. Don’t let this app evaluate his performances ever again
Christopher Nolan on Quentin Tarantino's 10-film rule:
“I think it’s dangerous to look at it that specifically ... Quentin has his reasons, and I respect those enormously. But I’m hoping that he won’t stay true to them"
"Every film that I do is the last I’ll ever make... and one day I will be right. So every time I want to put everything into the project at hand. I’m never thinking, ‘Well, I’ll save this for the next one.’ I don’t ever want to think like that. I want each movie to be everything"

I don’t want to live in the timeline where corporate greed wins and we eventually just accept it.
If the future of PlayStation means removing physical media and taking away that choice permanently, then I’m walking away. I won’t buy the PS6. I’ll miss the exclusives. I’ll miss the games. But I don’t want to contribute to a future where companies can remove consumer choice simply because they’re big enough to do it.
I know I’m only one person. But every choice matters.
I don’t want to look back years from now and say we lost something we loved because we all assumed someone else would stand up.
If we want things to change, we have to be willing to make choices that reflect that.

Two mobile live service games from huge developers announced their services are soon ending.
This is just further proof of what a digital only future could look like and also begs the question of the future of the mobile gacha game.
One day, the games WILL shut down. What happens to the hundreds/thousands you spent? Will content be made available for free? Will they provide offline installers to preserve these games and accounts? Big questions that need answers if this the future of gaming.
Sony is hoping this’ll make people lose hope, to accept the new normal, don’t.
The retraining is an ongoing process, they can and will reverse course long as the backlash is bigger than they anticipated, and it is.
Remember, they wasted $400 mil on Concord. €30 mil is nothing.
physical media matters to creatives because it creates a sense of ownership of their own work. i know seeing my own name in print still matters and i'm glad we're still spilling ink for my words. Billy expresses this sentiment well. seeing his game on disc is a motivator.
saw someone say that “Superman is who you want to be, while Supergirl is who you actually are when life gets tough but you keep trying anyway” and i think that's really beautiful
Have you ever had a shelf full of games?
My siblings and I can walk over, grab a game, pop it in the console, and play. I can lend games to friends and cousins, trade them for another game, revisit them years later, and build a collection I’m proud of.
Maybe one day my kids can pick a game off that shelf and experience it for themselves.
With digital, it just doesn’t feel the same.
I understand why we’re moving in that direction. It’s convenient, it’s instant, and for a lot of people it’s easier.
But we’re losing something. Gaming is more fun when the experience is shared. Borrowing a game from a friend after you beat it, lending one to a cousin, swapping games at school, building a collection in your room.
And we’re losing some of that sense of ownership too. More and more of gaming is tied to accounts, subscriptions, digital storefronts, licenses, and internet connectivity.
I know that’s where the industry is headed, but I’ll miss when you could just buy a game, bring it home, pop it into your console, and play. No logins, no subscriptions, no worrying about whether a service still exists years later.
Maybe I’m too much of an unc, but there’s a lot of value in physically owning the things you pay for.
You love to see them both, Deborah Ann Woll and Charlie Cox, playing main characters in extremely popular gaming IP’s
