(1/3) Listening to the podcast, Prism: Tales of Your City and thinking about what a privilege it is to hear queer folks tell their own stories. I'm particularly heartened by the episode that documents Stonewall via first-hand accounts.
(2/3) I strive to honor the history of our people by offering a platform in academia for queer folks to express ourselves. As I continue to create measurements to conduct quality research with my community, I will ensure that our voices and stories are what drive my findings.
#AcademicTwitter: I used to be a horrible scientific writer. I was paralyzed by writing anxiety & it took me FOREVER to write papers. Last year I published 14 scientific articles (8 first, 2 second, 2 senior-author) & 2 book chapters.
