Now y’all know damn well that if Mitch McConnell had a “D” next to his name, Republicans wouldn’t wait another day to call a special election.
Beshear needs to proceed.
And if you don’t understand why, stop pretending you want Democrats to fight harder.
That is all.
@GovAndyBeshear

Call me crazy, but I do not support the $12 billion bailout for the farmers who overwhelmingly voted for their own demise. Pull yourselves up by your bootstraps and stop leeching off our taxpayer dollars.
Your tax dollars still pay this man’s salary, while his boss is incapable of doing the job he was hired to do.
We must put an end to politicians (and staffers) thinking their actions and procedural games can always go unchecked.
It is now Day 36 of Senator Mitch McConnell’s hospitalization following a fall and a reported case of mild pneumonia, with no reported broken bones, concussion, heart attack, or stroke. So why is he still here?
No one seems to have a clear answer. What I do know is that Senate Republicans outside of leadership don’t appear to know what’s going on, Senate Democrats have remained silent, and Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear @AndyBeshearKY needs to come to Washington, D.C.
We need to talk more about age limits in government service, from Congress to the Supreme Court.
These are people with generous pensions. At some point, they need to know when it’s time to go. Too many refuse. Maybe it’s time to make it law.
This is happening in Jacksonville, Florida at a 55+ community. A 28-year-old girl was living there with her father who was ill when he passed. He gave the home to his daughter, and she wants to remain living in the community.. well the HOA has decided to enforce the 55 and over law, and is asking for $1000 from 155 members in the community to sue her to get her out of the neighborhood because she’s 28 years old, not 55+. In my opinion, this is despicable. These HOA‘s have way too much power. This sh!t has to stop.
You know if the shoe were on the other foot and McConnell was governor, and the Senate seat was held by a Democrat, he would’ve already filled this seat.
Gov. Beshear, stop posting bullshit reports. Walk into the hospital and demand to see Mitch. He is not just an ordinary citizen. It’s your responsibility to tell Kentuckian if their senator is alive. Do it now. Stop pussyfooting. Not funny!
Republicans have controlled the House, Senate, and White House for two years now, and yet, they have not done one thing they promised to improve your life.
But they sure have done quite a bit for themselves and their rich buddies while everyday Americans are still struggling.
Beshear should go to the hospital and demand to see proof Mitch isn’t a vegetable and if they refuse he should go forward with naming his replacement. That’s what Mitch McConnell would do and I think a great way to honor him.
