This is the coolest thing ever. We’re at NASA getting a tour from astronaut Anne McClain. This is us entering the Orion capsule that flew around the Moon in April.
Only one chance in this lifetime…
Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him.
I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.
The last week and a half had more impact on me as a cinematographer than I think I’ve ever felt.
I had the incredible opportunity to capture the Artemis II mission for @interstellargw, from launch to splashdown.
I just added a 38 minute behind the scenes vlog to the JustTheLetterKProductions YouTube channel 💫

"The gratitude of seeing what we saw, doing what we did… it’s too big to just be in one body."
In the newest episode of our Curious Universe podcast, hear some of the first reactions from Artemis II astronauts after their Moon mission: https://t.co/tJeOPtLITB
Jesse, Steve, Laddy, and Vlad….such an incredible feeling to welcome you aboard Integrity after a nearly 700,000 mile journey. Forever thankful for your service to our crew and the nation.
We need more non-military astronauts like her so badly, there’s so much incredible talent that just isn’t getting in because the military is the best way to get support
Welcome home Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy! 🫶
The Artemis II astronauts have splashed down at 8:07pm ET (0007 UTC April 11), bringing their historic 10-day mission around the Moon to an end.
