⚡️Amhara political prisoner Binyam Shegaw reportedly in critical condition after abuse in detention at Kilinto Prison (📍Addis Ababa City, Ethiopia).

🔴 Binyam Shegaw, an Amhara political detainee and prisoner of conscience held at Kilinto Prison, is in life-threatening condition due to severe medical complications.

🔴 Reports indicate his condition stems from beatings he sustained while in detention, leaving him in critical condition.

🔴 Binyam was taken from his workplace in Addis Ababa by government authorities and has remained detained at Kilinto Prison for more than nine months.

🔴 Human rights advocates continue to call for his immediate access to urgent medical care and for respect for his legal rights.

⚡️Over 33 regime forces killed, 50 wounded, and four captured as Fano launches coordinated offensives in Gonji-Qolela Woreda (📍North Gojjam Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia) between July 20th–21st.

🔵 Fano units under the 33rd Division (AFNM-TC 102nd Corps) ambushed regime forces returning from Quarit and Dega-Damot Woredas before engaging them in Duwaro-Seyfartra Kebele in the Washera sector.

🔵 On July 21st, Fano relaunched its offensive against regime positions in the Washera area, resulting in intense fighting involving heavy machine guns (HMGs).

🔵 The fighting left more than 33 regime soldiers killed, 50 wounded, and four captured. Fano forces also seized a significant quantity of firearms.

🔵 In a separate operation on July 20th, Fano forces attacked regime positions in the Gimb-Geregera area, inflicting additional casualties, although the full extent of the losses was not reported.

⚡️Fano repels multi-front regime offensive across Choke Mountain as artillery strikes kill civilians and Debre-Zeyit Kebele (📍East Gojjam Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia) falls under Fano control.

🔵 Between July 18th–20th, Fano units under the 99th, 24th, and 54th Divisions (AFNM-TC) repelled coordinated regime offensives across Machakel, Bibugn, and Sinan Woredas, forcing regime troops to withdraw from newly established positions in the Dega-Segning and Debre-Kelemo areas while preventing them from entering Waber town.

🔴 Regime forces carried out repeated indiscriminate artillery strikes against civilian areas across all three woredas. The shelling severely wounded a three-year-old child in Machakel, killed at least five civilians in the Azore-Medhanealem area of Bibugn, injured another civilian near St. George Church, and struck residential neighborhoods in Sinan, causing additional unconfirmed civilian casualties.

🔵 During the fighting, regime forces sustained heavy casualties, including significant losses in Sinan Woreda, although the full extent of casualties was not confirmed.

🔵 On July 20th, Fano forces took control of Debre-Zeyit Kebele in Sinan Woreda, a strategically located area a short distance from Debre-Markos City.

On July 22, 2026, the Abiy regime carried out a drone strike targeting St. Arsema Monastery, located near the Abay Bridge in the Mekane Selam area of Amhara Region. According to reports from the ground, the strike killed multiple monks and nuns, and caused extensive damage to the monastery.

The monastery, a religious site, was struck during the afternoon. In addition to the casualties, the attack destroyed monastery property and infrastructure.

⚡️Over 38 regime forces killed as Fano repels offensive and seizes weapons across Debre-Elias and Machakel Woredas (📍East Gojjam Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia) between July 14th–15th.

🔵 In Debre-Elias Woreda, Fano units under the 14th Division (AFNM-TC 206th Corps) engaged regime forces in Gofchima Kebele, leaving at least eight regime personnel killed while numerous wounded were evacuated in four vehicles, including two ambulances. Fano forces also captured firearms and a large quantity of ammunition.

🔵 In Machakel Woreda, regime joint forces advanced from Amanuel town with heavy artillery, mortars, and armored vehicles before clashing with Fano units under the 24th and 99th Divisions (AFNM-TC) in the Choke Mountains during a 12-hour battle.

🔵 The fighting ended with regime forces retreating back to Amanuel after sustaining more than 30 fatalities and numerous wounded.
