@dogsandflowerz@MsBeeIam@justindotnet@AlexandriaVAPD The difference is in one case the gun was discovered upon entering the building. In the other case it was in the school for hours undetected, in the custody of a young child.
@justindotnet@AlexandriaVAPD@ACPSk12 More transparency is needed on how this will be prevented going forward. The school has only said they are following ‘safety guidelines,’ with no information on what those guidelines are. Not good enough.

@VeroniqueThebe1 “…we don't wish to see anyone else go through those same struggles, or at least, we each want to play a part in minimising their personal struggles.”-So very true. 🌸
@VeroniqueThebe1 Finding limits without blowing past them is challenging! But avoiding experimenting to find those limits out of fear of symptoms/setbacks isn’t great either. I can definitely relate to this article.
@585Mentalhealth @tinybuddha I practiced qigong and Chen style taijiquan for a number of years, and can attest that even when a young/active person I found huge benefits to both physical and mental health. Definitely worth checking out!
@CfgLaw @LoveBrainReset1 Love this. When I had to fly solo with a young child, I turned it into a scavenger hunt contest for finding gates, bathrooms and baggage claims. Totally saved my visual energy. Kids can complicate travel but they can also be amazing helpers!
It’s important to celebrate small successes. Today I survived back to back #NeuroOptometry and #VisionTherapy appointments without falling on my face! 🎉 I’m celebrating with an almond croissant. What’s your win today?
“I don’t feel very much like Pooh today," said Pooh. "There there," said Piglet. "I’ll bring you tea and honey until you do.”
