Scifi. I've had a few call it space opera upon hearing about it, but I'm not sure I'd say that. Others have said scifi fantasy (again, not a classification I ascribe to for Renegades).

Others have probably said similar but two things that tie together:
1.) Don't worry about word counts for the first draft. The story should be as long as it takes to write the tale at first. Edit later.
2.) Have fun with the work.

Zara Singh is the falsely accused of treason MC rescued at the beginning. She's Queen Isabella's lover and 1 of the few trying to stop the assassination. Her mind's Swiss cheese from the cryoprison, but as time goes on, she regains memories.

There's others, but... Limits.
