This is today's New York Times (NYT) newspaper.

The Sunday edition is always very important. American newspapers are now ranking Prime Minister Narendra Modi above Donald Trump in America.

That's a big deal!

The NYT is surprised by how, amid all the upheaval over the past year, PM Modi has expanded the scope of partnerships by visiting numerous countries.

The newspaper believes that in the 20+ trips to countries in 2025-26, most involved closed-door business meetings.

And it wasn't just Modi who went-over a dozen heads of state also visited India.

From submarine technology from Germany, to visas for students from France, and affordable Scotch whisky from Britain these are included, and something or other is emerging for India from every one of the Prime Minister's trips.

The newspaper acknowledges that many countries are now taking the initiative themselves to build ties with India. Relations with countries like Japan and Australia have grown stronger.

 In the field of AI, France and India are working together. Norway has reiterated its commitment to creating 1 million jobs in India. South Koreans will build ships in India. A trade agreement with the European Union has been finalized.

Discussions on maritime security have taken place with New Zealand. And yes, now no one should come along and say that all this happened before too, or that previous prime ministers also went abroad.

Those demanding an accounting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's foreign trips should also note that the New York Times writes in its analysis that in many top-level meetings of the old era, the goals were very broad and vague. Whereas now, clear objectives, definite targets, and numbers are being set.

Last year, Britain reduced tariffs on Indian textiles. The article also mentions the gifting of a "Melody" toffee to Italy's PM Giorgia Meloni.

Despite all the tariffs imposed by America, India has stood firm; despite the Iran-war, everything is normal so credit is due to the leadership for that.

That's why the world's greatest superpower is talking about it too.

For a decade, The Art of Living was portrayed as an organisation that had damaged the Yamuna floodplains.

On August 22, 2026, the Supreme Court set aside the NGT order and directed the refund of the ₹5 crore deposit, effectively dismantling the basis on which these allegations were sustained.

Millions saw the accusations.

Far fewer will see the vindication.

The real question is not whether Art of Living has been cleared. The Supreme Court has answered that.

The real question is: who takes responsibility for 10 years of reputational damage, misleading narratives, and public condemnation?

If institutions, activists, experts, and media organisations can make serious allegations that do not ultimately stand scrutiny, should they not be held accountable as well?

Justice is not only about correcting a legal wrong. It is also about correcting the public narrative.

Q: Gurudev, I hear you say many times do not judge people. Is it really possible to not judge anyone in life?

@Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji - Though you have heard "don't judge," judgement comes unavoidably in day-to-day life. By the actions and behaviors of people, you either approve or disapprove. But always remember that everything is changing, and do not hold onto the judgement. Otherwise your judgement gets solidified like a rock. It brings misery for you and for others.

If judgements are lighter like air, like a breeze, they bring in fragrance, then move away. They could bring a foul smell, then move away. They should not stay there forever.

Judgements are so subtle that you are not even aware of their existence. Judging or labeling someone as judgmental is also a judgement. Only in the state of Being when you are full of love and compassion can u ever be free from all judgements.

Yet the world cannot move without judgements. Until you judge something as good or bad, you cannot do any actions. If you see rotten apples in the market, you say, "No good." Good ones you buy. If someone lies to u ten times, u think next time it also could be a lie. A judgment happens automatically.

See the possibility that people and things can change at any time and don't hold onto the judgements.

You need to judge your company. Your company can pull u up or pull u down. The company that drags u towards doubt, dejection, blame, complaints, anger, delusion, and desires is bad company. The company that pulls you up towards joy, enthusiasm, service, love, trust, and Knowledge is good company.

When someone complains, first u listen, then u nod, then u sympathize, then u complain. So, ur company can create Hell for u in Heaven -- or Heaven for u in Hell. Judge for urself . . . !

The people and events u are associated with do influence ur mind. Your actions and associations effect ur mind. In certain company ur mind behaves in one way and with others in a different way.
