@scdsbmath Good question. Do the cats continue to catch mice at the same rate? Perhaps the rate decreases because the slowest mice have already been caught. Perhaps the cats lose interest. If every cat catches a mouse every six minutes (8 in 50 minutes), we need 13 reliable cats
@scdsbmath One process is creating equivalent numerators. 2/5 and 3/4 can be represented by 6/15 and 6/8. Therefore, 6 out of 8 men are married to 6 out of 15 women. The pattern continues using multiples of 6 (e.g. 12/16 men 12/30, 18, 24...) until the retirement complex is full
