@jon_hutchinson_ The problem with report writing is that ends don’t justify the means. I’m yet to see anything that suggests a child’s progress or learning changes as a result. They are a lovely, cozy thing for parents to get, but they don’t seem to help learning.
My job as SENDCo is to level that field by ensuring every family has someone who understands the law and can advocate for them in their corner. If a family gets lawyers engaged - great, less work for me. But if they dont or can't, I'll fight for them every step of the way.
@Mr_Raichura 100% agree Questions serve to keep everyone listening and simple retrieval opportunities. I now never expect much to go into the heads of learners if I haven't questioned it during the lesson… and its frightening when you first use as you see how many weren't listening!
I wonder why the @EducEndowFoundn went for 5 a day instead of 4. Using technology just doesn't fit and has the potential to be hugely damaging. @AlexJQuigley

For writing, I've loved TWR and Powerful Writing Strategies (@SRSDonline ) @janeconsidine ‘s The Write Stuff is also very helpful.
