This time of year really is special in an infant school. Exhausting and crazy, but amazing!
We had our school choir Christmas concert tonight and it was perfect for getting everyone into the festive mood. It's always good to be reminded how special our job is!

Really enjoying my time at my new school. Working with a great team and the ethos of the school really matches my own. It's my first time working in an Infant school (as opposed to Primary) and it's great for getting to know all of the children, parents and community.

I'll be moving schools and changing roles in September so I'll be back on this account once I've left my current school! I can't wait to get started at my new school and embrace the roles of DHT, EYFS leader and teacher in Reception again after a little stint in KS1!

I definitely don't tweet on here anywhere near as much as I should! Just finished a great year primarily teaching Y1 (as well as some F2 and F1). Looking forward to solely teaching F2 again next year with @Lissydrip and really revamping how EYFS is taught in our school! 🙌

Tonight, teachers and school leaders will be bitterly disappointed at the lack of additional funding for schools in the budget. Tomorrow they will once again go into school & give everything to help the children in their care succeed. They deserve better.
