@MarquisGovan1 It's the same with media. In an effort to be 'unbiased' they present both sides and what is lost is the overwhelming evidence/ sentiment for one position.

Last year on Thursday we asked about starting to prepare for distance learning. The previous administration told us don't waste our time.
On Sunday night at 10:00 p.m. we got an email to prepare 3 weeks of packet work by 1st period Tuesday morning

The hell of it that is it's necessary for survival sometimes.
Isn't it strange that many of the school's current problems didn't exist until I showed up? It's almost like my randomly implemented paid-for policies that promise to deliver solutions are actually creating more problems for the teachers to deal with.
@cavaioliOVHS My metric of success is if the students are excited and curious, they succeed at the next level at an appropriately challenging placement, and they're good people.
In small schools, I can do that. (Usually)

One of the best things about a small school is being able to keep track of previous students to gauge their success (or needs)
@ModestTeacher With different philosophies, families can chose the one one that best serves their child (and same for teachers)
Districts tend to have a one size fits all for everyone. (and then that changes when the superintendent changes)
