Watching @bbcquestiontime. A old lady explains she voted brexit because of French roofers… she’s having a laugh… surely, My future, my children’s future, my families future down the drain so British roofers don’t have to use safety boards…. Come on @mrjamesob you surely saw?
@Miss_Grimmer I do it and will continue to do it, just make sure work are aware of your travel and will be fair towards that! I don’t mind the drive but I do live in the lakes!!
@Miss_Massingham@DeputyGrocott I don’t understand how your curriculum is so dependent on them? We don’t use them and it saves time, hassle and is easier. A subject leader should be looking at content not titles
First time in year 6 looking for advice -
We haven’t received anything about moderation today….
Am I safe in assuming we aren’t being moderated?
Any help appreciated!!

@Mr_AlmondED@mrRteaching I think it’s a mixture, I believe having 3 long texts is a strange concept, I think the questions were poor and I also thing there wasn’t enough time, the tests would have been perfect if they had 10/15 minutes more!
#sats2023 feeling massively deflated for the children in my class this week. Our profession is built on the premise of improving the whole child. Yet today I had to literally watch a child cry about a test that really means nothing to them. Why are we doing this? #teacher#Year6
Seeing Matt Hancock ask for £10,000 a day for consultancy work is sickening. What he could earn in 3 days it takes me a year. Let alone the resources we buy as teachers because MP’s like him won’t fund our schools.
Let’s ensure our education is prioritising the children and not just satisfying out of touch, trigger happy inspectors. LETS MAKE A CHANGE https://t.co/vV9ISqNoF1
@jonnybid As much as it is a bad thing, it can also develop brilliant skills of working with difficult people, something I have to say I have experienced myself at a previous position!
