Yesterday, I completed my Level 1 Kodály training. It was a condensed 3-week program. I learned a lot about using folk music to teach smaller children in the classroom setting. It was great experience, and I met a lot of fantastic colleagues there.

Students in Kindergarten and First Grade at Hoover Elementary participated in a month-long unit in music class in which we learned to create songs on Quaver's Q-Grooves. Many students took their projects home and created songs on their own time, later playing them for the class.
