God, thank You for being our God and desiring to listen to our prayers. You are always here for us in our good and bad times. Increase our prayer life so we can draw closer to You. Give us the confidence to know that You will always listen to our cries. Amen.
God, I know I quickly turn to hatred when I should turn to forgiveness and love. Help me to choose love over hate so I can help my team walk hand in hand together as one body, one family. Amen
Hate blinds. Love unites.
👉 “Above all, maintain constant love… since love covers a multitude of sins.” — 1 Pet. 4:8
Choose love > hate. Always.

God, You created each of us uniquely for a special purpose. Help us not to consume our time by comparing what we have to what others are given. Focus our hearts and minds on glorifying You with what You have given us; convict us when we seek what others have, Lord. Amen.
"Let each person examine his own work, and then he can take pride in himself alone, and not compare himself with someone else. For each person will have to carry his own load." - Galatians 6:4-5
Comparison steals joy.
Focus on carrying your own load, not measuring yourself against others.
Grow where God has planted you.

Father, the last thing I want to be in sports or life is a hypocrite. Please show me areas in my life that need work, and please help me to honor You even more. In His name, I pray. Amen.
"For when you judge another, you condemn yourself, since you, the judge, do the same things." - Romans 2:1b
Larry Bird led by example—working hardest before calling out teammates. Hypocrisy harms teams & faith. Romans 1–2 urges self-check before judging others. Growth comes through encouragement and integrity.

Father, You love me with a love I cannot even imagine. Please, fill me with that love that I may deeply love those You have put around me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
True team unity comes from love—both philadelphia (brotherly love) and agape (sacrificial love). 1 Peter 1:22 challenges us to love deeply, just as Jesus loved us. Let’s lead with love on and off the field.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.
BE THIRD! HE+THEY>ME
Athletes and coaches face decisions that shape their careers and lives, often based on what they value most—money, success, or purpose. Our priorities, whether balancing training, family, or work, guide our decisions.
God’s Word teaches us to put Him first, value relationships, and seek spiritual growth. By seeking God, spending time with Him, connecting with others, using our talents, and sharing the Gospel, we align our lives with His will.
How are you currently spending your time and resources? #devotion #whatmattersmost
Father, thank You for the perfect gifts You have given us: Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Thank You for the countless other gifts like grace, love, joy and peace You give us each daily. We are so grateful for these gifts and for Your love. In Your name, amen. Merry Christmas!
"For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on his shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace." – Isaiah 9:6 (CSB)
🎄✨ Merry Christmas from the FCA Family! Today, we celebrate the greatest gift ever given—Jesus Christ, our Savior and Prince of Peace. May His love and joy fill your hearts this Christmas season!

@_pblanknews What some aren’t realizing is that Mike Tyson from the neck down was in great shape. However, from the neck up was a 58yo man who has taken a lot of blunt force trauma. I think Tyson had every intention of swinging away, then he got hit and he looked lost.
Lord, thank You for recruiting me to be part of Your family and covering the costs so that I could freely accept Your invitation. I deserved to pay the fee, but instead You chose to bear my burden and sin on the cross. Thank You for choosing me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
"See what great love the Father has given us that we should be called God's children - and we are!" - 1 John 3:1a
Rejection can sting, especially when a coveted spot goes to someone else. But there’s one team where everyone is chosen: God’s family.
John 1:12 says, “But to all who did receive him, he gave them the right to be children of God.” No tryouts or recruiting are needed; Jesus already paid the price on the cross. All you need is to believe in Him, and you’re welcomed into God’s family. #devotion #wanted
Jesus, we come before You seeking Your strength to make it through each day. We desire to honor You with our life but know we fall short. Give us the confidence to come before You and confess our sins so we can have Your strength to fight. Amen.
Jesus understands our struggles because He faced every temptation, though He never sinned. We don’t need to hide our sins from Him; instead, we can approach Him with humility. When we confess, like that little girl, we experience the freedom that comes from His understanding and grace. How amazing to have a Savior who truly understands and empowers us! #Devotion #confess
Lord God, we know that Your glory is with us in every task that we do. With each breath and step we take, You guide us through it. Help us to not get discouraged Your glory is always with us; let us never forget that. Amen
Yesterday, we reflected on mountaintop moments with God, but those aren’t everyday experiences. Like in sports, not every play is a game-winning moment—sometimes it’s a simple pass or a base hit. But that doesn’t mean God’s glory isn’t present.
Psalm 139 reminds us that God’s glory surrounds us daily, even in the ordinary tasks. Life is mostly lived in the valleys, where things grow. God is with us in both the mountaintop moments and the everyday grind, guiding and strengthening us in every step of our journey. Even in the mundane, His presence is just as powerful.
How have you seen God's glory in your everyday life? #Devotion #Glory

God our Father, we come to You in prayer, humbly requesting that Your Spirit be poured out among us today. Strengthen our faith in who You are. Give us assignments that require us to have big faith. Help us look to You and believe in who You are with our whole self. Amen.
Faith is powerful. To grow close to God, we need active faith—trusting that He is real, alive, and for us. Hebrews 11 reminds us of people who, despite challenges, had faith in God before anything else.
To accomplish big things for God, we must first have strong faith in who He is. #Devotion #faith
God, I choose my ways most of the time, but I know Your ways and Your Kingdom are better. Help me to seek You over things of this world. I want to think of Your ways over my own. Help me encourage others to do the same so that we may live in Your righteousness and goodness. Amen.
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you." - Matthew 6:33
When we seek God's Kingdom first, we align our actions with His righteousness, responding faithfully. When we act based on our own desires, we risk sinning. To be more like Jesus, we must consistently choose God's Kingdom over our own. Let's evaluate our choices to see if we're truly putting God's Kingdom first.
