The Israeli military has issued mass displacement orders across vast areas of #Lebanon, including entire towns and villages in the south and the southern suburbs of Beirut, forcing civilians to flee amid ongoing airstrikes and escalating bombardment.

As a result, around half a million people have been forced to abandon their homes in search of safety.

The mass expulsion of civilians under such conditions constitutes forced displacement, a grave breach of international humanitarian law, which prohibits compelling civilians to leave their homes unless their safety or imperative military necessity demands it, circumstances that cannot justify the widespread uprooting of entire communities.
