The smallest member of the voluntary services team made his first official visit to the ward today.

Milo (and Ian) were made very welcome by the staff and patients on West Newton Ward and we are already planning their return.

Celebrations of the 75th birthday of the NHS would not be complete without recognising two of our longest serving volunteers. Sharon from our front desk team & Jim from our children’s ward have given a combined 58 years of voluntary service to @TeamQEH #NHS75 #thankyou #volunteer

Today was such a special day, the League of Friends celebrated 70 years. Our amazing volunteers keep the hospital shop open 7 days a week. Here is lovely Ros the shop manager on cake delivery duties.
