Isn’t it weird how unsubsidized consumer goods like TVs, appliances, clothes, all get cheaper and cheaper…while anything government puts its hands on, healthcare, housing, food, tuition, cars, utilities…just gets more and more unaffordable?
Oh well. Probably nothing.
You know the type of AI that I hate?
Spam calls recording your voice to use for other spam calls attempting fraud.
My grandpa got a phone call thinking it was his grandson, saying he had got in an accident. And needed some money for the accident. And to call a number to send the money for the accident.
If my GPA didn’t call his dad to ask if he heard about the accident, he wouldn’t have know it was a scam. The phone call sounded identical to my cousin.
BYU's athletic department was valued at $500M+ and its football program at $366M+ as of late 2025, and the Cougars brought in more than $153 million in revenue in just their second year in the Big 12, all while collecting only a partial conference revenue share. They've become one of the fastest-rising brands in the league.
Rewind and the setup makes sense...For more than a decade, BYU ran as a football independent with ESPN as its media home, a rare deal that put a single program in national windows on ABC, ESPN and ESPN2. It gave the Cougars a national brand most non-power schools never get close to. When BYU joined the Big 12, that ESPN deal folded into the conference's broader media rights, and the program traded some of its old autonomy for security, revenue and a seat at the Power Four table. The brand has only grown since.
Here's why I'm incredibly bullish on BYU specifically. Most people look at that fan base and see television ratings. I see buying power. BYU has one of the largest, most loyal and most nationally connected followings in college sports, and that base does far more than show up on game day. Alumni, families and businesses tied to the community spend, hire and buy all year round, which adds up to an enormous amount of collective economic activity.
Turn a passionate national base like that into real economic value and you have a commercial engine most programs can only dream about. BYU is built for exactly that, and it goes well beyond media rights and ticket sales.
I'd bet on BYU's trajectory over the next few cycles. The media platform gave the Cougars national reach...their people are what turn that reach into staying power. I'm as bullish on BYU as any brand in college sports right now. @BYUCougars
Hello again.
We’re currently in Clemson, South Carolina. I’ve decided to come back here to document the final part of our road trip.
The main reason I deactivated my account two weeks ago was that things became increasingly toxic. For some people, it’s unfortunately unfathomable that a good story can exist without some kind of hidden agenda behind it. There was even a Reddit group going through my entire account trying to find anything they could use to reveal my identity.
I know this was only a small percentage of people, but after a while it became exhausting. During the last two weeks, I received so many kind messages on Instagram, and they really made me realize how many people genuinely enjoyed following the trip. Some people even told me that their grandparents regularly ask them, “What are the Germans up to today?” I think that’s really cool.
I decided to continue because I realized that the overwhelming majority of people loved following along. A small group of very loud people shouldn’t be able to ruin something that brought so many others joy.
I also want to clear something up, as people who follow me on Instagram already know.
I’ve been to the United States before. This is not my first visit, and I’ve never claimed that it was. The last time I was here was in January 2022, when I visited New York and Philadelphia.
A lot of people shared my Raising Cane’s post from November 2025 to make it look like I was secretly American. That post wasn’t from the United States, it was from my trip to Saudi Arabia.
This is my first time back in the U.S. in more than four years, and apart from Boston, I’d never visited any of the places we’ve been to on this trip before. That’s probably why many people assumed it was our first time in America, because for all of these places, it actually was.
And let me tell you, Ohio and Alabama are very different from New York City or Los Angeles.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Thanks for reading.
I mapped the entire future economy. Nine layers, from bedrock to orbit → and every layer is investable.
🛰️ SPACE → the orbital economy: $ASTS $RKLB $PL
⚡ ENERGY & STORAGE → powering the buildout: $TE $EOSE $SPKL
🚁 AUTONOMY & DRONES → machines that operate themselves: $ONDS $AUR $MRLN $KRKNF
🤖 PHYSICAL AI → intelligence that acts: $OUST $AMBA $OSS
💡 PHOTONICS → light replaces copper: $CRDO $SIVEF $AAOI $LITE
🏗️ AI INFRASTRUCTURE → the compute buildout: $IREN $NBIS $DGXX $WYFI
🔬 GLASS & OPTICAL MATERIALS → the substrate light runs on: $GLW $LPTH $LPKF
📡 CONNECTIVITY & RF → moving the signal: $AMPG
⛏️ CRITICAL MINERALS → the hard constraints under everything: $MP $UAMY $ASPI
Here's what the map teaches that a watchlist can't: these aren't nine separate trades. They're one machine → the minerals feed the glass, the glass carries the light, the light feeds the compute, the compute powers the intelligence, the intelligence drives the machines, and the machines reach for orbit. Every layer is a chokepoint for the one above it.
Which is the entire investing philosophy in one image: don't chase the logo at the top of the stack → own the layers everything above is FORCED to buy from. Logos compete. Layers collect.
Important note: a map is a thesis, not a timing tool → layers de-rate together when the factor gets sold (see: this month), and not every name survives to see its layer win. Diversification across a stack is still one machine.
The future economy isn't a sector. It's a supply chain → and it's hiring.
They knowingly run a flawed candidate, pressure Platner to drop out, ignore the primary voters, then install their handpicked replacement—just like they did with Kamala Harris. All while clutching pearls over the scandals and screaming “No Kings!” The Party of No Kings never misses a chance to subvert democracy.
BYU got an absolute STEAL with Moa. He should be a 4⭐️ as well, there is no argument to the contrary.
This is hands down one of the best DL prospects in the West. He routinely embarrassed highly ranked players in every showcase I saw him in.
He also won MVP of a UtahBallers Trench Warfare event where he competed against every top DL prospect in the state.
The real deal.
