Thousands of citizens are currently stranded in Sagaing Division due to unprecedented flooding in the region, which has caused many villages to become submerged and compelled residents to evacuate to higher ground in northwestern Myanmar.

There is an urgent necessity for food and essential aid, prompting local anti-junta resistance groups and grassroots committees to initiate fundraising campaigns aimed at assisting those severely impacted by the ongoing flooding.

The junta regime has been notably lax in providing humanitarian assistance to regions where it faces challenges in maintaining control or is experiencing a loss of influence.

This deliberate disregard for the needs of affected populations is deeply concerning and exacerbates the crisis faced by these communities.

The Karenni ethnic armed groups have deployed multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) against the junta regime's forces in Kayah State of Myanmar.

The Karenni armed group said that this weaponry was obtained from a junta base and has been utilized back effectively in their operations against the regime's forces.

In a strategic operation, the PDF overwhelmed and encircled the junta's Myit Chay military outpost, resulting in the arrest of multiple junta soldiers.

It must be painful to only allow and observe the moment when the comrades of the Karenni National Defense Force (KNDF) apprehended several junta soldiers—particularly knowing that one of those arrested is the very soldier who committed the horrific act of raping the mother of one of their comrades.

The comrade whose mother was raped was prevented from taking revenge on the soldier by his senior in the Kayah state of Myanmar.

In Myanmar, the discipline and adherence to rules concerning prisoners of war (POWs) demonstrated by ethnic armed groups far surpass those of the national army(Tatmadaw), underscoring a stark contrast in the treatment of detainees.

In recent days, the junta army has systematically destroyed hundreds of residential homes across various villages in the Sagaing region, which has been one of the hardest hit regions of the junta's brutality.
