@Team_Maths1 KS2 teacher looking for some advice from secondary teachers. What would you consider to be the 6 key areas of maths facts for KS3 pupils in Y7/8 to recall quickly?
@Team_Maths1 Hi. I've recently launched my new (free) football-maths app to help children with their maths. I would be very grateful for a retweet so that I can try and get word out about it.

Came across this article and now wondering if an iPad and Apple Pencil is something I need in my life that may help with lesson planning and presentations. Does anyone have any experience with these for teaching? What are your thoughts?

@MissM47373707 Hello. Welcome to Twitter! Sorry for the slow reply. You’re probably sorted now but maths education hashtags include #mathschat#mathscpdchat#teammaths. For who to follow, have a look at the maths teachers who tweeted on the hashtag #donsteward - all worth following.
Urgently looking for some feedback and advice on using Maths Mastery as part of improving our curriculum to support improvement in our declining Maths outcome at GCSE. Is it worth the costs? We are not part of a MAT. Can anyone help please? @mrbartonmaths@Team_Maths1@MathsHubs
You see this is a joke about Descartes’ famous line from philosophy ‘I think therefore I am.’
But if I had explained that before the rest of the joke it would have been putting Descartes before the horse!
A horse goes into a bar and asks for a pint.
The bartender says ‘you know, you’re in here pretty often, do you think you might be an alcoholic?’
The horse says ‘I don’t think I am’ and promptly vanishes from existence.

@MissjordannnE There are a few off-the-shelf tools you can use (eg numeracy ninjas, times table rock stars etc). Improving speed and accuracy in times tables using TTRS works well in form time because you get to play rock music, and it can easily be run by non-maths teachers.
