As operational technology (OT) systems become increasingly more complex, it becomes harder for OT owners and operators to keep track of the hardware and software in their environment. An OT asset inventory—an organized, regularly updated list of OT systems, hardware, and software—is foundational to designing a modern defensible architecture. Without an inventory, organizations may not know what they have and what should be secured against malicious cyber actors.
New guidance from the FBI and our partners highlights a process for OT owners and operators to create, maintain, improve, and use an OT asset inventory: https://t.co/7gmMXpKDM0
Residents, workers, and visitors alike deserve to feel safe in the nation's capital.
The FBI and our federal and local partners are working around the clock to crush violent crime and protect our communities.
Late last year, the @FBIColumbia Field Office hosted the first-ever South Carolina-based Collegiate Academy. This free, but competitive, program immersed students from colleges and universities across the state in all things FBI, including career opportunities, live demonstrations, and interactive activities.

The FBI has released a PSA warning that Russian FSB cyber actors are targeting end-of-life networking devices across critical infrastructure sectors. Click for technical details and further information on the FSB Center 16 unit conducting this activity: https://t.co/OZohNt0sDQ

BREAKING: @FBI has arrested another Top 10 Most Wanted Fugitive: Cindy Rodriguez Singh.
Singh is wanted on state charges of killing her six-year-old son. She will face charges of Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution and Capital Murder of a person under 10 years of age.
In March of 2023, authorities in Everman, Texas conducted a welfare search for Singh's child after he had not been seen since October 2022. Singh allegedly lied to authorities about his whereabouts, and then two days later, boarded a flight to India — and we believe has not been back to the United States since.
Singh was charged in October 2023 in the District Court of Tarrant County, Fort Worth, Texas, and in November, authorities issued a federal arrest warrant for the charge of Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution.
This is the 4th "10 Most Wanted" fugitive arrested in the last 7 months. That's a credit to tremendous field work, law enforcement partners, intelligence operatives, and an administration who is letting good cops do their jobs.
Thanks to our local partners in Texas, where this case originated, @TheJusticeDept, as well as partners in India for the coordinating. @FBIDallas and @NewYorkFBI did tremendous work.
