Israeli hero aboard nearly-hijacked FlyDubai flight FZ 1073: Yaniv Hayoun
Hayoun has no background in security. But when he realized there was an attempted hijacking, he knew he had to do something.
He ran to the cockpit and physically fought with the co-pilot, who had stabbed the pilot and was attempting to crash the plane. Hayoun put the co-pilot in a chokehold and dragged. him out of the cockpit. Others came over to help restrain him.
Hayoun then went back into the cockpit and pulled back on the yoke to pull the plane out of its nosedive. The plane had dropped 17,000+ feet in under two minutes.
An off-duty pilot then entered the cockpit and took over the controls, and Haroun went back out to help guard the co-pilot.

BREAKING: Bitcoin just broke $76,000 for the first time in 3 months.
BTC pumped +$14,000 from $62.7k to $76.5k and liquidated $4 billion worth of shorts in just 4 days.
Bitcoin is now up +22% after adding over $250 billion to its market cap.
This is the largest short liquidation streak in crypto history, and the craziest part is that there is no major catalyst behind this insane rally.
This is absolutely incredible.
Corporate America is currently on pace for the biggest earnings beat EVER recorded.
S&P 500 companies are beating earnings per share estimates by an aggregate +29.2%.
To put this into perspective, the 5-year average stands at +7.0%, which is already historically high.
In other words, S&P 500 companies are now beating already high expectations by ~4.2 TIMES the 5-year average.
On top of this, the blended net margin for the S&P 500 is up to 16.9%, also an all time high.
Even if you removed Alphabet’s $98 billion gain from unrealized equity investments and Amazon’s $53 billion gain from Anthropic, S&P 500 earnings growth would STILL be +32.0% year-over-year.
We are in the midst of the largest investment boom in history.
