Also, they could have challenged any of those pitches. They actually did challenge one and lost. It was intentional and ive heard, literally, zero evidence that refutes that.

@baconandtacos @usatodaysports Same coach has a history of shoving ex-players in the Handshake line. It wouldn't surprise me if he really did try to avoid the handshake line, however I agree he mostly did it to try and get his team fired up.

@jen_schro Possibly, but wouldn't other teams also deploy this same strategy? And wouldn't Mia have gotten hit alot this year? Well, Mia had been hit 4 times going into the Super Regional, now its 9 times...and most by first pitches too. Seems off right?
