Everyone wants Privacy in DeFi / RWAs. iExec just shipped the one that actually works: Nox on Arbitrum testnet.
Programmable Privacy that stays 100% EVM-composable. No liquidity silos. No privacy tax. This is how they take the whole Privacy category. 🧵👇

Data stays fully encrypted the entire time. @Intel TDX hardware black box runs your smart contract logic in a tamper-proof enclave: no one (not even the node operator) can see the inputs or alter the code. Only the authorized result comes out.
This is exactly why TEEs are game-changing for DeFi, RWAs, AI agents, and any app that needs real privacy on-chain.
Who else is bullish on Confidential compute finally going mainstream? iExec is cooking ♨️

Community Land Trusts in Atlanta have lost properties to predator bots that read their treasuries on-chain and outbid them by exactly enough to win.
GroundVault @steve_social_ fixes this with Nox.
Verified investors deposit confidential dollars into a vault funding permanent-affordability housing. The public sees vault health and total homes funded. Nobody sees individual positions or treasury size.
Same chain. Same numbers. Different visibility.
Confidential lending for impact RWAs, built on Nox.

Hot take: one of the most underrated things about iExec’s Nox Protocol is that users don't have to change wallets.
Sounds small. It's not.
Every Privacy solution I've seen either lives in a silo, breaks composability, or asks users to migrate to a custom client. That friction is why adoption doesn't happen. People don't switch wallets for Privacy. They just stay exposed.
Nox lets confidentiality works through any standard Ethereum wallet. You add privacy to DeFi, you don't fork it. Existing protocols. Existing tooling. The same ecosystem, just with data the public can't read.
That's the kind of thing that actually gets used.

6. $RLC - iExec
Confidential computing for DeFi and AI, powered by hardware TEEs (Intel SGX enclaves) where even the node operator can't see the data.
Sole TEE provider on Arbitrum since Sept 2025, with a Confidential Token for RWAs and private DeFi shipping at EthCC in July. Every private tx burns RLC.
A French, research-driven team that kept shipping through the bear while the rest memed. ~97% off ATH.
Privacy is not merely about hiding information.
It is about controlling who can see what, when, and why. Systems like Monero and $ZCASH bet on anonymity, while technologies such as ZK, TEEs, MPC, and FHE enable confidential computation.
The next frontier is selective disclosure.
- Preserving privacy by default while enabling precise, auditable disclosure when needed.
This is what @iEx_ec is building with NOX

zcash:native just taught crypto the most expensive lesson in Privacy:
You can't trust what you can't verify.
A 4-year silent bug in Orchard and the worst part isn't the bug itself. It's that nobody can prove if it was exploited. Not because the team failed. Because the architecture made verification impossible.
This is the critical blind spot of "privacy without auditability."
Unverifiable privacy is a time bomb. You don't know what you don't know.
Real privacy ≠ hiding everything from everyone. Real privacy = protecting what matters while keeping the system provably honest.
Privacy must be verifiable. Not just promised.
iExec's approach: Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) + on-chain verification.
✅ Data stays private
✅ Computation is provable
✅ No "we think it's fine". Cryptographic attestation
Painful day for ZEC. But the signal is clear: the demand for real, verifiable privacy just got louder. The Privacy narrative isn't over. It's evolving and the bar just got raised permanently.
