Enforced disappearance inflicts lasting pain and uncertainty on families. The suffering endured by countless victims and their loved ones during the era of Awami fascist rule remains a deep wound in our national life.
The BNP-led government is committed to upholding the State’s responsibility toward victims and their families, uncovering the truth, establishing the whereabouts of the missing, and ensuring the rights and dignity of affected families.
Our commitment is clear: Never again enforced disappearance. Never again a family left waiting in uncertainty.
BNP remains committed to building a humane, democratic and accountable Bangladesh where every citizen’s life, liberty and security are protected.
