How long is the General Category going to keep carrying the burden of Hindu unity and nationalism? I do not think they are willing to carry that burden anymore.
Whatever is happening in India right now, as uncomfortable as it may be, the churn in society can actually be healthy in the long run. A country has to go through this kind of churn every decade or so. It exposes the fault lines that everyone has been pretending do NOT exist.
And honestly, those fault lines need to come out in the open. Only then can we acknowledge them, debate them and, hopefully, start looking for solutions.
Leaders like Modi should be willing to take the political risk of losing everything if there is a genuine possibility that something better can emerge from this churn. Otherwise, we are just preserving the status quo and selling the same old lines of "Anekta mein Ekta" and "Hum Sab Ek Hain."
At some point, that becomes nothing more than "churan". You cannot keep selling the same medicine forever while refusing to treat the actual disease.
A country cannot keep suppressing one group just to keep another group comfortable. It cannot keep pretending that there is no anger, resentment or imbalance underneath the surface.
Unrest, chaos and social friction are not necessarily signs that a country is collapsing. Sometimes they are signs that problems which were buried for years are finally coming to the surface.
The real danger is not the churn.
The real danger is suppressing it until the pressure becomes impossible to control.
BJP was born in the shadow of the Ram Mandir movement. For decades, Ram Mandir was one of the central emotional and political issues around which the party built its identity and mobilised support.
Now the temple has been built.
That does not mean the BJP has become irrelevant. It means the BJP has an opportunity to evolve. There are much bigger and more difficult issues in Indian society that now need political attention: social divisions, caste inequalities, demographic pressures, education, employment, population stability, institutional reform, economic opportunity and the growing disconnect between different sections of society.
Hindus have survived invasions, persecution and centuries of brutality long before there was a BJP or an RSS. They survived because a civilization does not depend on one political party for its existence.
And they will survive in the future too, with or without the BJP or RSS.
That should actually give the BJP confidence.
It does not have to constantly prove that it is the protector of Hinduism. Hindu civilisation is much older and much bigger than any political organisation.
The question now is what the BJP wants to build after Ram Mandir.
Winning the next election is one thing.
Using political power to address the deeper fault lines in Indian society is a much bigger challenge.
Dear @theskindoctor13 ... i hope it makes sense out of your question.
@Nagraj_G_Baggon@rahulroushan till date no gobarbhakt has been able to give a satisfactory answer to 2 basic questions -
as if each and every chamcha will leave this earth, the moment he gets those satisfactory answers, forever.
