SMS/MMS are bad for texting on any platform, so Google worked with carriers to fix it. Yes, it's been messy - it's a hard problem. But sunsetting SMS/MMS and replacing it with something better is what's right for users.

Does anything show Google's branding issues more than @GooglePay being on its second iteration, yet *brand-new* ingenico machines still have an Android Pay logo? I don't think so. Google was first to mobile tap-to-pay and gets *no* shine.
@Four4three@TechLifeSteph@GMA@TheCookoutApp_ I'm on there. They're not a drop-in audio app. There were some trademark infringers pushing some vaporware knowing that there was a pre-existing social media app with the same name. It's a cool place, but it's definitely not that kind of product.
