@JLCPCB For anyone following along, I found this "For diodes, '+' indicates the anode" from https://t.co/0KDOK0QYUm so perhaps it's a good idea to mark diodes with a + on the silkscreen for JLCPCB instead of the tradition stripe or line for - (cathode).

Anyone familiar with JLCPCB's PCBa service, can you tell me if this "red cross" means + (anode) on the left? I cannot get a straight answer from their engineers, and the last order my diodes were reversed😵‍💫🙏 #JLCPCB #electronics #kicad

@JLCPCB I think it will be ok. I just didn't get a final confirmation about the red cross, but one engineer replied last night with "we will proceed as per the DFM: + is on the left side." so I think that means the red cross is a +. Thanks!

@JLCPCB Thanks, JLCPCB. The part that has me confused is there's no documentation that says what your red cross indicates. One reply to me said, "the original placement of it show the + on the right side" which I'm guessing means my silkscreen line was interpreted as the +.

@minsoftgames If you see exposed copper, you might need to sand it down and reflow the solder, with a quick wipe. Best durable but not too expensive plating for these carts is ENIG (gold plating). See my 1000 cycle testing here: https://t.co/0tY1511tIf
