Pathetic

[Harshit Jain @jain_harshit]

Google just paused the YouTube Premium subscription for my parents because we use a family plan and currently don't live in same city

Dear @Google, if you want to verify a family, ask for official proof. Mandating that a family has to stay in same household is very old school

[Technology Jock @TechnologyJock]

Other countries that do this - the operators not only "prioritize" premium users in crowded places but also *throttle* 5G speeds (let's say up to 100mbps; only premium users get full speed even in non-crowded areas)

so Airtel's T&C remains to be seen

[Abhishek Yadav @yabhishekhd]

Airtel just launched something no Indian telecom operator has done before.

It’s called Priority Postpaid, powered by 5G network slicing.

When towers get crowded, like concerts, markets, or peak hours, Priority Postpaid users get faster internet speeds than regular users connected to the same tower.

Priority Postpaid plans:

₹449 (Individual)
Priority 5G access, Xstream Play, Adobe Express Premium, 100GB cloud storage

₹699 (Family of 2)
Everything above + Amazon Prime + JioHotstar

₹999 (Family of 3)
Everything above + Apple TV+ and Apple Music

₹1199 (Family of 4)
Same benefits as above

₹1749 (Family of 5)
Everything above + Netflix

Existing Airtel postpaid users will get Priority access automatically.

Prepaid users can switch through the Airtel Thanks app or any Airtel store.

You’ll need a 5G SA-compatible smartphone running the latest software.

The US, Singapore, the UK, and Malaysia already offer slicing-based 5G services. India joins that list today.

Jio is definitely watching this closely right now. 👀

Today's tech is all about making everything more and more powerful - without knowing what to do with it!

Imagine - the majority of tech in our hands aren't being utilized to their potential (not even close)

[Technology Jock @TechnologyJock]

@sudesh_p_ @rishabhm lasts 25-30 years easily.

20 year old used Aerons are currently being sold for around ₹40K in some countries, and a lot of people buy them

[Technology Jock @TechnologyJock]

Have a look at this before you buy the iPhone Pro series on EMI/by draining all your savings - just because it's the societal gold standard for status/clout.

is it really worth it?

[Technology Jock @TechnologyJock]

@luvvkaito @UniverseIce if by optimization you mean killing apps in the background or restricting them from running at their best, sure. because otherwise I absolutely don't see how it can compare to other smartphones, especially given how demanding apps and services are these days

[Technology Jock @TechnologyJock]

also tbh every S20's series phone has looked more or less the same lol.

I think you guys should join hands and fight against Samsung to make something worthy enough for their loyal customers to buy year after year!

[Technology Jock @TechnologyJock]

Silliest fight in tech.
First of all, who cares about the antenna line position? would it really matter if it was off by a few mm? lol

[Alvin @sondesix]

Don't fall for this one, guys.

1. That antenna line collided with the volume down button 💀
2. The antennas are both different sizes lol

[Technology Jock @TechnologyJock]

@vimalanpaulr Excellent!
Love the cameras! Far better than the S25U

[Technology Jock @TechnologyJock]

I was a loyal Samsung smartphone user until I realized they're taking their customers for granted.

Moved to Xiaomi 15 Ultra, after almost 3 years of using S22 Ultra and S24 Ultra.

[Ice Universe @UniverseIce]

Samsung’s decline is already a foregone conclusion. You might say that it still has high sales, but decline isn’t linear—once the core users leave in large numbers, the company is in real danger. Those “new users” gained through superficial marketing are not loyal at all, and Samsung has gradually become a replaceable brand.

At this point, Samsung’s only remaining advantages are its geopolitical position and user habits. But even these are not permanent. As users become more aware, they are beginning to see Samsung for what it is: a profit-driven brand. TM Roh is a businessman with zero brand ambition, and Jay Y. Lee is just another rich heir who lacks real leadership.

Going forward, I’m very optimistic about Xiaomi; vivo and OPPO are also strong contenders. Give them more time, and they will definitely rise to greatness.

Which brands would you like to see me cover more often on my X account?

[Technology Jock @TechnologyJock]

China is ahead of every other country by atleast a decade

[Twee Twee @ThongWeeDaphne]

Whaaattttt 🤯😮‍💨 badminton live stream of China National Games is NEXT LEVELLLLLL 💯💯💯
u can adjust whatever angle u want 👍🏻

[Technology Jock @TechnologyJock]

@GiriSonnaSeri 😂😂😂😂😂

[Technology Jock @TechnologyJock]

@r3dash i think the problem isn't slim or compact.

if the iPhone Air or SE had triple cameras and great battery life while still managing to stay slim/compact, i think people would buy it (ofcourse technically it's not possible)

Cameras and battery life are too big a sacrifice

[Technology Jock @TechnologyJock]

Need more such comparisons!!! Call @SamsungMobile out for shamelessly taking advantage of their loyal customer base

[Ice Universe @UniverseIce]

Galaxy S25 Ultra 3x vs vivo X300 3.5x
There is a gap of about 3 to 5 years between the two.

[Technology Jock @TechnologyJock]

@arnabmandal007 SEs died because people weren't willing to spend $ on a phone with 1 camera and poor battery life even though it came with their preferred display size. same goes to the iPhone 17 Air.

the regular iPhone provides much more value

[Technology Jock @TechnologyJock]

iPhone Air is the new iPhone SE - will be discontinued within a couple of years.

[Technology Jock @TechnologyJock]

you'd be surprised, but simply by NOT using your keyboard while eating snacks/finger foods will avoid this! my OCD never lets me touch the keyboard before washing my hands, and my keyboard is still in mint condition after years of usage

[Can Vardar @icanvardar]

how can i prevent my macbook keyboard from becoming like this?

[Technology Jock @TechnologyJock]

Yes, Kollywood music desperately needs a makeover. More chances for Govind Vasantha, Leon James, Sean Roldan, Sam CS desperately needed!

[Technology Jock @TechnologyJock]

lol what did I just see

[Technology Jock @TechnologyJock]

The audio quality you used to experience from an offline 320kbps music file + a pair of wired earphones from a decade ago (priced around ₹2-3K) is unmatched, and something even Spotify + ₹15K pair of earphones/headphones struggle to produce today!

Am I the only one?
