How Java Was Created — A Quick History...

Java wasn’t originally called Java...

🔹 1991 — James Gosling and his team at Sun Microsystems started the project
🔹 It was initially called Oak
🔹 The goal was to build software for consumer electronics and embedded devices
🔹 1995 — Oak was renamed Java and officially introduced
🔹 Java’s famous idea: “Write Once, Run Anywhere”
🔹 Code is compiled into bytecode, which runs on the JVM (Java Virtual Machine)
🔹 This made Java highly portable across different operating systems

From a small embedded-device project to one of the most influential programming languages ever...

💻 Day 14 of Learning C++

Today, I continued my journey into Searching Algorithms and focused on Binary Search...

🔸 Learned the Binary Search concept and how it works on a sorted array.
🔸 Understood why Binary Search is needed and how it reduces the search space efficiently.
🔸 Learned why we use Binary Search instead of checking every element one by one.
🔸 Practiced the implementation of Binary Search in C++.
🔸 Solved problems like Square Root of X using Binary Search.
🔸 Solved the Peak Element in a Mountain Array problem.
🔸 Improved my understanding of search space, conditions, and time complexity...

Every problem is helping me understand how algorithms can make solutions more efficient...

Learning C++ under the guidance of my mentor, @rohit_negi9, and building strong fundamentals one concept at a time.
Still a long way to go, but consistency is the goal...

💻 Day 13 of Learning C++

Today, I continued learning and practicing Sorting Algorithms...

🔸 Revised Bubble Sort and understood how adjacent elements are compared and swapped.
🔸 Practiced how the largest element moves to the end after each pass.
🔸 Revised Insertion Sort and understood how it builds the sorted portion step by step.
🔸 Practiced comparing elements and shifting larger values to the right before inserting the current element.
🔸 Improved my understanding of the working and time complexity of both algorithms.
🔸 Practiced implementing both sorting algorithms in C++...

Every day, sorting is becoming easier to understand through practice...
